ELECTROCUTION is an event which will scrutinise the Ohm,Farad and Henry within you and will hallmark you as the king of circuits,if  you  emerge as the winner.

Ever dreamt of being bombarded by a stream of resistors ,diodes, capacitors, inductors??

If yes, then it’s your time.Portray your talents and show us what these elements are capable of.

Practical knowledge combined with what you learned with in the walls of the classroom  what you require to attain the ultimate glory.

Using Electrical and Electronics concepts , decode sequences and build the circuits. To participate in this event ,all one needs is basic      knowledge about electrical and electronics concepts.

Exciting prizes are waiting for you!!

GET READY AND PREPARE YOURSELF  TO  NOT TO GET ELECTROCUTED....!!!

ROUND 1:

  • Paper-pen round.
  • It comprises of an aptitude exam testing the Basic Electrical and Electronics knowledge.
  • Time limit is one hour.
  • Points will be awarded for each team based on the performance.

ROUND 2:

  • In this round participants will be given a story where every character in the story will be described with respect to electrical components characteristics.
  • The participants have to identify what these characteristics corresponds to in electrical elements.
  • Connect  the identified elements in the particular sequence as mentioned,on the bread board and has to identify across which element the given LED bulb will glow.
  • Maximum of 3 hints will be given. For each hint, points will be deducted.
  • Points will be given based on the time taken in designing the circuit and also neatness.
  • Bonus points will be given if the given circuit is completed earlier.
  • Time limit is 2 hours.

ROUND 3:

  • This round is all about showcasing their talent in building a circuit.
  • Qualified teams will be given a brief description about the circuit to be built.
  • Points  gained  from Round 1 & 2 will be considered as the basis for getting the elements required for the circuit.
  • Time limit is 2 hours.
  • Mobiles and calculators should not be used during the event.
  • In case of any fraud or cheating, the participant will be disqualified from the competition.
  • Organizers reserve the right to change rules as they consider fit.
  • Decision of the judges will be final.
  • The participants must have a valid college ID.
  • In the first round, judging will be based on the number of correct answers.
  • Judging for the second round is based on the number of identified elements and how close the obtained output is to the desired criteria.
  • In the third round, judgment will be based on the method that has been adopted to complete the circuit and to display the output.
  •  Each team should contain maximum number  of 3 participants(minimum-2).
  •  Cross college teams are also permitted.
