About the event: 

                   To truly achieve one's potential one needs a stage that draws out their inner Edison. Technozion is just that stage. Since its inception Technozion has continued its legacy of providing ample opportunity to enhance the scientific culture among the student fraternity and help them nurture their talents. Here is an amazing opportunity to showcase your ideas on a unique and massive platform in the form of well integrated and intriguing presentation. It strives to explore the inquisitiveness of young minds by giving their incredulous ideas a definitive direction. Technozion 2017 brings you the event Paper Presentation that provides you an extravagant platform to showcase and share your technical expertise and master your discipline. And a sum of around 1 lakh cash prizes to be won by the winners.

The deadline for abstract submission is extended to 21st October,2017,11:59 pm.

  • The interested candidates are invited to send their abstracts with the title of the chosen topic for presentation as the subject of the mail along with their contact details to the mail address corresponding to the branch of the chosen topic before the deadline date i.e. 21st October,2017,11:59 pm.

  • The sample topics for each branch and the mail addresses for the respective branches for sending the abstracts are mentioned in the tabs designed for individual branches (the tab names for different branches are their branch codes respectively).

  • The shortlisted candidates would be informed personally either through phone/email and will have to present their paper during Technozion in front of a panel of judges.

  • The shortlisted candidates will have to register for event participation on Technozion 2017 website(www.technozion.org).

RULES AND REGULATIONS: 

 

  • The paper should strictly follow standard IEEE two-column format (The format can be downloaded from the internet).

  • The paper should be in PDF format, readable in Adobe acrobat reader.

  • A team should consist of a maximum of 3 members.

  • Paper should contain maximum of EIGHT pages.

  • Citing the references is MANDATORY

  • Presentation should be less than SEVEN minutes.

  • Plagiarism is STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

  • Qualified candidates are required to bring along with them one soft copy of a Powerpoint presentation(preferably in a pen drive) and 3 hard copies of the technical paper on the day of the event.

  • The decision of the judges and event head shall be treated as final and binding on all.

  • Participants will be evaluated based on their

-> subject knowledge & background research and originality in presentation

-> confidence while presenting, presentability and preparedness

-> spontaneity and aptness during questionnaire

-> organisation skills and effective utilisation of time

 

NOTE: The participants need not restrict themselves to the topics mentioned in the respective branch tabs.

1. What is the registration fee for the event?

Ans. You have to register for Technozion'17, there is NO ADDITIONAL FEE.

2.Is it necessary to register for Technozion'17 before submitting abstract?

Ans. No.

3.. Can we participate in group?

Ans. You can participate individually or maximum upto 3 members in a group.

4. What should be format of abstract?

Ans. One can follow any general abstract format but make sure it conveys your idea or project clearly (need not to be long).

5. When and how to send abstract?

Ans.  You have to mail your abstract to the branch wise email id given before the deadline. Also try to send it as soon as possible so that we can suggest you the changes required.

6. When will the event be ?

Ans. It will be on First and second day of technozion.

7. How will we come to know that we are selected?

Ans. On the basis of your abstract you will be shortlisted and informed personally then you have to present your paper on first day of Technozion'17.

8. What things are to be carried for the event?

Ans. Carry your laptop(not mandatory), copies of your papers, powerpoint presentation of your work, pen and notebook.

9. Is there any dresscode for the event?

Ans. Not specific but try to be in FORMALS.

10. Is it necessary to have totally new idea for paper?

Ans. No, not necessary but it should not be a totally copied one.

11. How will the winners be selected?

Ans. Based on judging criteria every candidate will be judged, at the end decision of judges will be final.
