First introduced in Technozion’11, this first year exclusive event tests versatility, ingenuity and resourcefulness. We aim to provide a platform for the freshers to showcase their talents. The emphasis is laid on developing problem solving skills, spot thinking, marketing skills and to kindle technical intuition which will help transform ideas to innovations( in line with this year’s theme : Alquimia). The format of the event is structured around the need to vigorously and innovatively tackle problems which the participants will face at stage of the event. It is also an initiative towards ending the cliché of the freshers coming in second.
ROUND 0: APTITUDE TEST
Pen and paper is all you’ll need. This round tests your logical and reasoning skills. No syllabus, no prescribed books, pure brains.
A race against time and the other teams. Each team will have to perform a set of tasks spread across different locations in campus. Prioritizing is the key to success. Sharpen your wits and build up your stamina because you’ll need both to see you through this round.
ROUND 2: THE ALCHEMISTS
The teams will be required to put themselves in an alchemist’s shoes in order to transform the rough idea provided to them into gold. Each team will have to present a detailed plan of action on how they’ll deal with the situation provided by utilizing the resources they’ve been allotted . The teams will have to pitch their final plan to a panel of judges who will analyse the plan and question the team on any shortcomings the proposed plan may have.
ROUND 3: KILL ‘EM TO WIN ‘EM
