Dr. Angshu is a Data Science & Strategy leader with 11 years of experience in Technology, Retail & Media domains. He is currently Lead Data Scientist at Target (Fortune # 38 US Retail company with $72 Bn revenue). He is leading Data Science & Analytics projects for Target US stores using cutting edge technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning etc.
In his last job at Star TV (21st Century Fox - Fortune # 85 global Media giant with $37 Bn revenue), he was leading Strategy & Analytics for brands like Star Sports, Hotstar & Star Plus. He has earlier headed Strategy & Analytics function for Spice Group and managed Fortune 100 clients for Wipro Technologies.
He is a Visiting Professor at top IIMs, IITs, XLRI etc. and a trainer for Tata Group, ABG, Nivea etc. He teaches Data Science, Analytics & Digital Marketing. He has authored the book “Influence 2.0" and published 10+ research papers on Social Media, Analytics & Marketing.
By education, Dr. Angshu is an MBA topper & PhD from XLRI Jamshedpur and a Computer Engineering graduate. He is also a member of prestigious Harvard Square Leaders Excellence and American Marketing Association.
