Electroblitz is a fun technical event made for participants to enjoy and utilize their knowledge about various components and circuit
connections . This will not only test your technical skills but also your teamwork and coordination.
Electroblitz is team event where you will be tested in three rounds. Starting from a basic memory game to a game of logic gates and
finally a circuit relay, We've got everything in store for you!! The only prerequisite for this event will be basic knowledge and loads of
enthusiasm. Come in teams of three or four and electro-blitz.
SO PUT YOUR TECH-CAPS ON AND BRING OUT THE
TECH-STEIN IN YOU!!
EXCITING PRIZES TO BE WON BY THE BEST TEAM!
DURATION: 2 days of TZ.
TEST YOUR MEMORY!
The participants will be shown pictures of variouscomponents and modules for a fixed amount of time. They are expected to memorize and then match these with the correct set of characteristics provided later. The more number of correct matches, the higher the chances for the team to make to it the next round.
The participants will be provided with a complex Boolean expressions, logic gate based problems in this round. They should simplify the expression to the maximum using correct logic in a given time period or answer the given riddle in the speed of light :p. The team which manages to crack all the expressions in the least time and answer the questions gets through this round.
This round will check team coordination and efficiency. Each team will be provided with a circuit diagram, and the components required to connect it accordingly. Each member of the team gets a time of 1:30 minutes to make the connections and complete their part of the circuit. The circuit is then passed to the next person and so on. While one of them is making the connections, the rest of the team does
not get to see the connections made by him/her. The team which finishes the circuit the quickest gets declared as winner.
1. The team wil be provided 5 minutes prior the start of the relay to discuss. After that, no discussion will be allowed between the team members.
2. No loose connections.
1. By the end of the relay, the circuit should have all the components of the circuit diagram. If not, points will be deducted accordingly.
2.Based on the time taken to complete the given circuit, points will be awarded to each team.
3.Improper connections by the end of the relay will lead to deduction of points.
1. Do we need to carry laptops?
Ans. No, you wouldn't need a laptop for any of the rounds.
2. Stationary required
Ans. Try to carry a pen for the first two rounds. If not,you will be provided with them.
3. What are the prequisites?
Ans. Basic knowledge about electronic circuits and devices will sufficent.
4. How many members can each team have?
Ans. A group should have 3-4 members.
